After a short (OH MY GOD SO LONG) spell of not appearing in the The New Yorker, I once again appear in The New Yorker with the cartoon above.
A couple things about this one:
1. It’s a baseball cartoon (no, really) and I’ve been trying like (beer)nuts to get a baseball cartoon into the magazine.
2. This makes me happy.
3. I had to redraw this EFFING thing four times to get it to where I thought it looked okay. Crowds are the worst. In life and in art.
4. I’M IN THE NEW YORKER THIS WEEK.
5. May that phrase never get old.
And so! You can buy my rejected New Yorker originals, now! On Etsy! Check it out: Etsy Rejects.
Thanks for being on the Internet, looking at my crap.
