3I’m just not convinced 100% that River Song is completely dead. Her “spoilers” comment in the “How is Clara still supporting this conference call if she’s dead?” exchange leads me to ponder this. Vastra knew where/how to conference call on her, so it’s possible she, Jenny, and Strax might have visited her, and Strax might have healed her body, or she might be in hospital healing (I imagine it would take a while).

In other news, I just don’t understand why, when we get a new Doctor, people insist on complaining how he’s not just like the old Doctor.

He’s as doctor-y as he’s going to get because he’s his own Doctor, as Tennant was his own, and Chris was unto his own self. I’ve loved all the Doctors I’ve seen so far, I love that they’re vastly different. More than just a Darren switcheroo. (You kids might need to look up that last reference. :P)
Just because he does things differently doesn’t mean he does them WRONG.

Ohhhh I will be so sad. Soooooo so sad. My kids will be destroyed. Everybody loves River (and River’s hair). I made like she was still technically alive at the end of Library double-ep when she was downloaded mentally so they wouldn’t be upset.
That would be a helluva way to end a 50th landmark episode, with a tragedy like that which breaks all the hearts.

PATION this afternoon.
Spent the last few days sans internet (THANKS, TWC, jagoffs) so we’ve been re-watching some of our (me and my 2 wee boys) favorite eps.
Anthony loves the eps with the Weeping Angels.
Vinnie loves him some Daleks. Any Daleks will do.
My personal faves were the combo of The Pandorica Opens and The Big Bang, followed closely by the storyline ending in The Wedding of River Song.
So far, that’s the score. We shall see how this season progresses. The Asylum of the Daleks was an excellent stand alone. I can’t wait to find out if I need to eat my hat - which I promised, if Clara were proven not to be blood-family to The Doctor in some manner.
I know, I know, incest, ewww they kissed, ewww, heebie-jeebies. But has anyone even BEEN to Kentucky? Kissin’ cousins is not exactly uncommon, or the end of the world.
